"Making Waves" in 2026–2027 

Welcome to the 2026/2027 school year! We can't wait to kick things off with a year full of enriching programs, memorable events, and meaningful in-classroom instruction. 

Each year, our PTA chooses a theme that captures the spirit of the work we do together. This year, that theme is "Making Waves." We believe every Foothill student has the power to make a mark on the world, and that it begins right here, with a strong elementary education. When we nurture our children's curiosity, creativity, and confidence today, we help them make waves in their future: as scientists and artists, athletes and inventors, leaders and kind neighbors who leave every place a little better than they found it. 

That is where the PTA comes in. We advocate for our students, teachers, and families, and we build on the outstanding education our teachers provide each day. We fund and support the programs that help our children discover new passions and grow in confidence, including the Robotics team, the Math leagues, the school Art program, our annual Musical, Project Cornerstone, to name just a few. We also provide grants and supplies directly to the teachers.  These after-school and extracurricular experiences enrich the school day and help set our students up for success, in the classroom and far beyond it.  

We encourage every parent to peruse our website to learn more about our work, our upcoming events, and how you can get involved. As a first step, we encourage you to become a member of the PTA and donate to our Making Waves Foothill PTA Annual Giving Campaign, the main fundraiser for Foothill PTA's 2026/2027 school year.
