We are excited to announce the 2023 Foothill Variety Show will be held on May 19th. The theme this year is “Lights, Camera, Action!” The Variety Show is an opportunity for our students to showcase their musical (singing or playing an instrument), dancing (hip hop, gymnastics and more) and magical talents - either individually, as a small group, or even as a class.  All students (TK-5th grade) are welcome to participate in this year’s show. That said, only 5th graders can be a member of the stage crew. 

Please note that each act will need a parent instructor/ coach. This instructor will help manage the act and help with costumes, props, etc. The instructor must be present at rehearsals and performances.

2023 Variety Show Key Dates:

What You Need to Know:

1. All performers must attend all rehearsals and performances.
2. Solos and Duets may last 1 minute in length. Group performances (3 or more participants) may last 2 minutes in length.
3. Act Previews are mandatory to ensure that the context of the act is school-age appropriate as well as to provide feedback to the performers. 
4. Lyrical content, music and costumes must be appropriate for a school-age audience. Questionable material will not be allowed.
5. After you submit your application you will be contacted to schedule your act preview time. Please be on time for your 10 minute preview. If you are performing to music you must submit a copy on a CD at the preview.
6. Permission slips are due at the Act Preview Date.
