WAYS TO DONATE TO FOOTHILL PTA
Donate: Donate to our "Making Waves" Annual Giving Campaign for the 2026/2027 school year. In order to fund all the amazing events, activities, programming and in-classroom instruction (including Art!) we have planned, we need your help. We suggest that families donate $350 per student but any amount is greatly appreciated. You can donate by clicking below and selecting "Making Waves" Annual Giving Campaign.
Company Match: A significant amount of our annual income comes from Company Match programs. Please check with your employer to see if they have a Company Match program that will match your donation!
When your employer's giving portal asks for our details:

Please search by EIN, not by name. Like every PTA, we are a subordinate unit under the California State PTA group exemption. That means the IRS database your employer's portal searches lists, *might* list us under our parent organization's name:

If that is what comes up, you have found the right organization. Select it. Some portals show it as “Foothill Elementary PTA” or "California State PTA - Foothill Elementary PTA," both of which are also us.
After you submit a match request, please email treasurer@saratogafoothillpta.org so we can credit it to the right program. Matching funds often arrive months later with no donor name attached.
Donor-advised funds and family foundations: We can accept grants from donor-advised funds, family giving funds, and private foundations. Recommend a grant to Foothill Elementary PTA, EIN 94-6171942, at the school address (addressed to Foothill Elementary PTA 13919 Lynde Avenue, Saratoga, CA 95070).
One note your fund administrator will ask about: grants of this kind cannot be used to pay for anything you receive value in return for, such as event tickets, auction items, raffle tickets, or PTA membership dues. A general gift, or one designated to a program like Art or the Musical, works well.

HOW DONATIONS ARE ALLOCATED
Your tax-deductible donation allows Foothill PTA (Federal Tax ID # 94-6171942) to offer these amazing programs:
• Teacher Grants: We support our teachers and staff with special training, classroom activities and supplies that are not supplied by the district.
• Student Programs: We solely fund our annual Musical, Project Cornerstone, Playground Pals, PTA Art classes, Run Club, Math League, and Foothill's First Lego Robotics teams
• Community Events: We fund community events, including Kinder Splash, Ice Cream Social, International Day, Family Dance, Science Fair.
• And so much more!
