PTA Exec Board Meeting
Description
Monthly PTA Executive Board working meeting for officers and committee leads. Meetings start at 7:00 pm.
Agenda
1. Updates since July 8: website refresh, new role email aliases, and what is live.
2. Making Waves annual giving: this year's campaign and the ask.
3. First Day Packet: final contents, print run, and volunteers.
4. First week of school, final readiness with to-dos:
Kinder Splash (Aug 12), First Day Coffee (Aug 13), Ice Cream Social (Aug 14).
5. External partner requests:
a. Girl Scouts request to table at the Ice Cream Social. Set our policy on outside groups.
b. RMS PTA invitation to co-host a nonpartisan SUSD candidate forum (late September): publicize via our channels and share the custodian cost. Board input for Kim to relay.
6. Robotics: info session Aug 21, and whether to expand to 3rd grade.
7. Regular Exec Board meeting time: lock it in for the year.
8. Looking ahead: Back to School Night (Aug 20), Association Meeting (Aug 26), Read-a-thon (Sep 14).
